Barbara Daniels has had six collections of rhymed poetry published, the most recent being "The Cartographer Sleeps" (Shoestring Press) which was launched at the Ledbury Poetry Festival.  Her formal poems have been widely accepted by leading magazines and have won top prizes in many competitions.  Acknowledgements appear on the blog page as does an extract from a review of "The Cartographer Sleeps" in which R.V. Bailey writes, "I read this collection at a sitting, with increasing pleasure and admiration..."

 (I have a comic blog called Doc Barbara's fabulous exploits.)

 TROPHY

In the race towards the altar.
oh! say who is the winner.
Is it the husband or the wife?

The rabbit's running for her life;
the fox runs for his dinner.
